It comes in a brown box that you can store your lantern in while you are not using it. The model number is TT_CL003. As you guys know i always read the manual first before touching the lantern. While i was reading it i noticed a lot of stuff but the manual comes in three languages English, German and Japanese. This lantern has a very bright light i was rather impressed with it. It is powered by 3 D batteries which is not included. But it can last up to 30 hours how cool is that. It also has a led indicator flash after it powers off. Making it easy to find it in the dark. You can stand it up or hang it on anything.
To insert the batteries turn the lantern upside down and push down and twist. Once cap is off insert the batteries. I did notice it is a bit tricky to get the battery cap back on don't get frustrated It takes some time to line it up. You have to push it in and twist until it snaps back. I wont lie it took me several times until i got it. Hopefully the more i do it i can get in on the first time. Other than that there is a black button which turns it on and off. I really like how easy it is to twist to get to the light to change the bulb if it ever blows. Only down fall i would say with this lantern is the struggle with the battery part.
This lantern is not waterproof only water resistant. So never submerge this into water if it gets splashed on it will be okay. If you are looking for a lantern head on over to amazon and snag this very nice lantern up.
