When you get this drone you will have to put it together. By that i mean the landing pieces and the blades. Now i tried to put this together by myself so by the time he got home from work it would be a great surprise. Boy was i wrong it took me two days and i was so frustrated with it i broke down and told him and he had to put the blades on. Go figure it took him less than 5 minutes. I would say this is a man job. Once it was together he ran out and got batteries for the controller. He played around with it inside for a little bit. At first we couldn't get the control to sync with the drone. I was annoyed with it and told him to have fun. Finally got it to work. The next day we took this outside you will see in the video below. This little thing hauls butt. It makes a great gift to anyone who has been wanting one of theses for years. I will say first time flying it he did crash it into our roof and it fell from the roof to the drive way and it broke off the one piece that protects the blade. When i say broke off all we had to do was screw it back in. So i will say this thing can handle a good fall. You will need to register it to fly outside which i found out. Which we did now. It's only $5 to register it so not bad. He is like a kid in a candy store with this so i am so happy i was able to snag this for him.
I did get this for free in exchange for a unbiased review.
