This wine opener is stainless steel and has a built in thermometer with a big lcd screen. It comes in a black box you can store it in while not using it or you can leave it on your counter in the stand. It does need to be charged once you get it. It takes an hour to charge fully up. Once you plug it in the lcd screen will light up and show you the charging stages.
I will say it's a bit on the heavy side but nothing out of this world. It does come with a manual i would say make sure you read it. To get the temperature of your wine bottle. You will need to put the bottle in front of the infra-red detector which is located on the front of the opener. To remove the cork simply place it over the cork and press the down arrow button. Once it's out of the bottle remove the wine opener and if you want to release the cork hit the up arrow. This is so much easier to use then the wine opener you do by hand. Saves so much time and frustration. This is on amazon for a very reasonable price. I did get this for free in exchange for a unbiased review.
