Theses lights are on a 15.75 ft string and on the string there is 20 led multi-colored lights. When you get theses they do have a little bit of charge but you will need to put the solar panel in direct sunlight to charge it. Theses don't get hot like normal lights so they are safe to put on trees and bushes. You can have them blink to change colors or have it on a steady light. The solar panel i really like how it has a spike that you can put in the ground to get it to stand straight up to get more light. The colors on theses lights are red, gold and green. They are so pretty at night. When sticking it outside it will need 6 hours to fully charge up. There is a protective film on the solar power box make sure to take it off before charging in the sun. There is about 5.5" in between each light. To change the light to go blinking or steady on the back of the solar box is a mode button you will need to press that. I love theses lights and so thankful i was able to snag them up. I did get them for free in exchange for a unbiased review.
