It is a round dome that looks crackled. It is a white warm light. I was shocked how light weight theses are. I was hoping that theses ones would come with the pole to hang them but it doesn't no biggie i can get them from our local store. Theses do have a metal arm with a loop so you can hang them from it. You can hang theses or set them flat. The solar power part just screws into the top of the glass dome. Theses are a great solar light and would make a great gift to anyone.
